Remoty does not restrict you in doing clock-in & out in a specific way. It allows you to do it from anywhere that you feel comfortable with.

You can do it through 2 different ways. Either directly from our web app or from your team communication tool such as Slack, Teams, etc. (We intend to keep adding more team communication tools in the list as we move forward)

WEB APP:

The icon to clock-in or clock-out has been placed on the top right corner of Remoty’s web application. Just click on the icon to perform the action.

Once you are clocked-in, you will be able to see the break icons on the top right corner too. In order to go on a break or end your break time, you simply have to click on the icon.

SLACK:

Once Remoty has been installed and a channel has been defined for team attendance

You have to simply type **/in** to clock in.

An optional daily questionnaire will pop-up (only if you have enabled it from the web app) where you can mention the agenda for the day.

All these availability announcement along with questionnaire answers will be published in the defined channel.

In order to mark the day-end you simply have to type /out

Simply type @remoty in to clock in for the day
